Phone, laptop and notebook arranged on a bright workspace

If you've searched for a way to put all your messaging apps in one place, you've almost certainly come across Beeper. It's the best-known all-in-one chat app, and it's very good at what it does.

YAFOY solves an overlapping but different problem. This comparison is written by the YAFOY team, so we'll be upfront about where Beeper is the better choice.

The short version

  • Beeper combines chat networks: WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram, Instagram, Messenger and more, on phones and computers.
  • YAFOY combines email, work chat and personal chats, and adds Insight, an AI summary of what needs you first.

If your overload is personal chats, especially on iPhone, Beeper is likely the better fit. If it's the mix of email, Slack or Teams, and chats, and you want help prioritizing, YAFOY is built for that.

Where Beeper is stronger

Chat networks on iPhone. Beeper connects WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram and others on iPhone. YAFOY can't: Apple doesn't let it read those apps, so on iPhone YAFOY covers email, Teams, Slack and texts (via Shortcuts) only.

Desktop apps. Beeper runs on Mac, Windows, Linux and ChromeOS. YAFOY's desktop experience is limited for now.

Full chat experience. Beeper's on-device connections work with your chats directly, and keep end-to-end encryption where the network supports it. YAFOY's Android approach captures messages as they arrive through notifications, so it doesn't bring in full chat history.

iMessage on Mac. Beeper's Mac app can include iMessage. YAFOY's iMessage support is limited to Apple Shortcuts.

Where YAFOY is stronger

Email. Beeper doesn't include email. YAFOY connects Gmail and Outlook, with threaded replies and attachments, next to your chats.

Microsoft Teams. YAFOY connects Teams work and school accounts. Beeper's network list doesn't include Teams.

AI priorities. YAFOY's Insight reads your recent conversations across apps and writes a short briefing: what changed, what needs a reply, what's due, what can wait. Beeper's paid plan adds AI transcription of voice notes, but not a cross-app priorities summary.

A calendar and capture. YAFOY brings dated commitments from messages together with your Google or Outlook calendar, and lets you save notes, voice memos and files that it analyzes for follow-ups.
